GSCC and Tresor Women Warriors Sign MOU to Support Women-Owned Startups

We are thrilled to announce that the Gambia StartUp Chamber Of Commerce (GSCC) and Tresor Women Warriors (TWW) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in supporting the growth and success of startup women-owned businesses in The Gambia.

A Partnership for Growth

This strategic partnership aims to foster a collaborative environment where both organizations can identify opportunities for partnership, share resources, and leverage each other’s expertise and networks to achieve common goals. The collaboration is designed to promote the growth and success of women entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the necessary support to thrive in a competitive market.

Access to Finance

One of the key aspects of this agreement is the provision of funding support to GSCC’s recommended group members. This revolving funding support will empower GSCC members by providing them with the financial resources needed to invest in their businesses, increase production volumes, and enhance their market presence. Access to finance is a critical component for the growth of any business, and this initiative aims to bridge the gap for women entrepreneurs in The Gambia.

What’s Next?

The activities under this MOU will kick off soon, with detailed information on how to express interest and apply for funding to be shared in due time. We encourage all interested parties to stay tuned for updates and be ready to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.

A Commitment to Women’s Empowerment

At Tresor Women Warriors, we are committed to empowering women and fostering economic development in The Gambia. This partnership with GSCC aligns perfectly with our mission to support women in business and leadership roles. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and prosperous entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this collaboration will have on women-owned startups and the broader Gambian economy.
